Abigail Disney is a filmmaker and philanthropist. Her first film, a feature-length documentary called Pray the Devil Back to Hell, tells the inspirational story of the women of Liberia and their efforts to bring peace to their broken nation after decades of destructive civil war. It won the 2008 Tribeca Best Documentary award and is currently playing in theaters. She is also involved in producing a number of other documentaries with social themes, and is developing a four-hour project for WNET/Wide Angle called Women, War & Peace.

Jennifer RedfearnJennifer Redfearn, Director/Producer
Jennifer Redfearn is a director, producer, and writer. She has worked on programming for PBS, the DISCOVERY Networks and independent productions. Most recently, Jennifer co-produced the two-hour special Doctor’s Diaries for NOVA and field produced a medical series for Discovery. She comes to documentary filmmaking with a background in environmental and research science. She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Wellesley College and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. Her work samples can be found here: jenredfearn.com

Tim Metzger Tim Metzger, Director of Photography/Co-Producer
Tim Metzger is a New York based director of photography working in both
narrative and documentary. Recent work for Discovery and History Channel
has taken him around the world for series such as Engineering an Empire and The Dark Ages. More recent highlights include shooting the narrative feature Li Tong in Beijing, a documentary and photography project in Xinjiang, hunting anacondas in Venezuela, crossing the Siberian Arctic aboard a Russian nuclear icebreaker, and filming a new series on mythology in Morocco. david-bio1 David Teague, Editor
David recently edited Cynthia Wade’s Freeheld, which won the 2008 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject and the Special Jury Prize at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. He directed and produced the documentary Intifada NYC which premiered in competition at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and directed the silent feature Love Suicides. His documentary work also includes the forthcoming Our House. His camera and editing work in numerous short films have screened at Cannes, the Berlinale, and the Tribeca Film Festival, among many others.

Abigail Wendle, Intern/Multimedia Journalist
Abigail Wendle has written for the culture and arts sections of Scallywagandvagabond.com, PopMatters.com and thewip.net. She has also been a contributing radio reporter for the Community News Production Institute. Since moving to NYC in December 2008, Abigail has been interning with independent filmmakers developing her fund raising and multimedia outreach skills. She graduated with honors with a BA in Liberal Studies from Flagler College, studied Islamic Politics at Khazar University in Azerbaijan and will begin Columbia University’s graduate journalism program in August 2009.
